Fur-Ever Wild is the place to come to find information about North American Fur-bearing animals, the importance of habitat quality and preservation, the reality of the balance between humans and nature and the
resident wildlife and the importance of ethical hunting.
You'll find photos, fascinating facts, live demonstrations and profiles of our resident animals.
Our animals help us educate people about the world we share.

When we have live animals on display, the safety and comfort of the animal is important to us, so all programs are subject to the welfare of the animal.

Appropriate care requires considerable expertise, specialized facilities, and lifelong dedication to the animals.
Their specific needs - nutritional, behavioral, social, and environmental - are
demanding to meet. It is very challenging to provide wild animals with the
proper conditions for a healthy, humane, and captive life. Most require specialized diets and more room than most people can provide.

The animals of Fur-Ever Wild can never be released into the wild. A wild animal has certain inborn behavior patterns but also require learned behavior to survive in competitive natural environments. Our animals have been raised in captivity, and could not survive on their own. Wolves-Woods and Wildlife is an outdoor education center that celebrates our traditional connections to the land and mother nature...
...from the pioneering trappers and hunters that traveled through and settled in Minnesota, to our ranchers and farmers who are feeding the world today.
WWW is NOT ANTI-HUNTING, in fact we encourage ethical outdoorsmanship. We believe that people who are connected to mother nature will help in the efforts to make sure we have habitats for our beloved wildlife, wooded areas, open lands and hunting land for generations to come.
We are NOT a "scamtuary"  or "sanctuary" giving people sob stories and begging for money. We do not take orphaned or abandoned wild animals then plead to the public why we need thousands of dollars to keep them. These animals should be rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
ALL of our animals were born in captivity.

Wolves-Woods and Wildlife will educate you with up-close encounters with our North American Wildlife we share Minnesota with -- We offer engaging live animal demonstrations as adult and children's programs. Come face-to-face with a cougar,
